Qavavau Manumie: Drawings from the North

Victoria DayONLINE ART GALLERY

Qavavau Manumie is an Inuit printmaker living in Kinngait (Cape Dorset), Nunavut. As an accomplished member of Kinngait Studios, Manumie began by learning lithography and has since mastered the process of stonecut.

Manumie’s prints and drawings communicate a close connection to nature and the animal world. Their dynamic compositions are often paired with a subtle colour palette and are always, always, always printed with precision.

Subscribe by January 31st to receive an art print of Manumie’s work in the mail. (Not pictured, that would ruin the surprise!)
