Hi Juan! Who or what are your biggest sources of inspiration?
I don’t really have anyone specific that really inspires me to create, but I really appreciate Moonassi and Pierre Soulages. What really inspires me to create are mostly emotions, interesting stories and poetry.

When did you start to feel confident that you had found your own stylistic voice?
Hmm, I think it took me a while to be comfortable, but honestly I’m still trying to find a more confident place in my work. I’m always curating when I’m not creating.

What’s your work set-up like? What’s your process like?
I like to work in a clean spacious space, and my process varies, sometimes I daydream about it and comes out easy, and then sometimes it takes quite some research or brainstorming to get something out.

What’s on your plate for the next year? Any new developments and exciting events?
As of today, not quite sure. We’re only in May – it’s pretty far ahead. However, I’m working on collaborating with people on Instagram, for a new personal project called “Fractured Series” which is about self-reincarnation.
